hi guys.i have a tx2-1274nr.but there is a sticker located on the left of the mousepad saying "HP touchsmart tx2-1274dx notebook PC" I googled the model (and im sure that i have 1274nr because i checked the specifications and it matches) but theres no such model (1274dx) is my computer refurbished or is it just a typo on the sticker?

what do you think?

Is that the orange sticker you're seeing on the left side? I don't know why it is telling a different model, but a more reliable sticker to look at would be the one at the bottom of your tx2. It's a black sticker with a barcode named "Service tag", and it would say P/N for product number. You will know if your tx2 is refurbished if it would say XX###XXR, like for example: NK911UAR

And just for verification, if you search the product number of your tx2 on HP's website, it should bring up tx2-1274nr as well.

wow thank you zirdaj.it helped me so much.and through the guidance of your knowledge i now know that my notebook isnt refurbished as the model number ends with an A instead of an R.
