... use it in Winamp? You know, next track, previous track, play/pause, stop. If it's possible, please let me know how to set this up.

yes.. if you turn on global hotkey awareness in Winamp.
It's always been that way, and the HP remote sends out standard Windows Media Center commands.

If in doubt, test if yourself. If it doesn't work, check the options. If there's nothing in the options, then you are justified in taking up others time and forum space.

Is it possible to customize the remote controller?
for example if i want to use it in internet explorer the Ok button works as Enter and the left-bottom arrow works as Back, but the other buttons don't work.

As stated above, the remote issues standard Windows Media Center commands, I'm sure you could remap them, but it makes them useless to the other applications that expect certain commands to be issued.

I thought there was a small application out there that selectively remaped the controls based upon the active application, but unfortunatly I dont remember what it was. Will look and see if I have it saved on my file server somewhere.
