HI Veryone !

I'm a newbie but yet addicted to the Touchsmart !!!

I own a 830be and it's absolutely great !

I've recently bought a new desk and a "thing" (I don't know the exact terms in English, sorry). It's a plate of steel recover with tissu (see it at http://www.ikea.com/be/fr/catalog/products/40166036)

The problem is : it explains that we cannot use this "plate" with a wireless keyboard or a wireless mouse ?

Is there anybody who can explain me what ? And if it maybe only doesn't work or damage my keyboard and mouse ?

it looks like a piece of wood or metal, I would think it will work just fine, I don't know why they say it is "incompatible"
