The software on the 300 series (version 3.0) is very different from the 2.x software that you might have read about on these forums. There is no reason to uninstall it to improve performance, since none of it will run unless started by the user. If you don't intend to run the TouchSmart software, uninstalling will at most recover a little bit of hard drive space (about 1.2 GB).
Hi. im a noob at this, but i need some help.
i recently purchased a Touchsmart 300 pc. it has been going very very slow, stopped responding, slow startup, and is also lagging very badly. I was reading a post on here about the Touchsmart application. I proceded to uninstall it. but in the programs bit there is still the applications for it, such as, touchsmart browser, touchsmart clock etc. i was wondering if i should delete them too?
I have noticed a difference from when i uninstalled it, typing is no longer lagging, and its only not responded once. is there any other ways i can make the not responding stop?
Thankyou.
