Over and over again I see people who can't get the damned SD cards out of the slot. And suspiciously, over and over again, I see zero answers. Like nobody noticed the issues.

They enter fine, they work, you get your data, you push to eject, they won't pull out after ejecting.

Why on earth do you people refuse to address this issue and pretend it doesn't exist?

Just tell me how to get the f'ing card out of the f'ing slot without needle nose pliers and a prayer for the death of all HP hardware design engineers?

And also tell me how such a known issue goes by without any single person addressing it? This is such a known problem that the solution should be published all over the web.

How much blood from how many tiny animals was shed at the altars of your oblivion to continue to ignore this massive problem.

Furious,

I of course understand the frustration, but this isn't the way or forum to take it out on, your issue with what can be considered inexpensive SD card reader construction, this issue is not one that is in every reader, nor is it one that everyone experiences, nor is it HP specific.

I don't know who you're implying the "you" in your subject is. This isn't an HP run forum, and I don't think any of the forum admins or the members are ignoring your hardware issue, let's just calm down a bit and think your rant through a bit more.

I have over a dozen SD card devices in the house today and I've never had the issue, but that doesn't mean that it's not real.

If you have a bad card reader that won't let you eject cards, it's either badly constructed cards, or a defective reader assembly, the defective reader assembly would be covered under warranty.

Have you tried contacting HP support? You say that nobody has addressed this issue...well, have you?

By the way, you may want to take a kinder apporach with the customer service/support as you may actually accomplish something without being put on eternal hold.

No small animal sacrifices are required either.

Give it a try, they may be able to help you. :-)

Perhaps large animal sacrifices might work better though as a side note

..... sorry, had to :)
