A question I was thinking about:

Is it possible to outfit the Touchsmart all-in-one with a battery pack?

Allowing one to set up their Touchsmart anywhere without having to keep it plugged into the wall.

If I recall, some of the internal hardware is of the laptop variety, too.

A UPS maybe?

Actually I thought about doing the same thing.

While a UPS may work, its a bit of a heavy solution and won't give you near te run time of a laptop. I thing the major differences between a laptop and the TS is the standard size HDD and the large screen.

So, running it off a battery, while not impossible, is not a likely alternative...at the moment.
