We recently put Windows 7 on my Touchsmart laptop.  It ran ok at first (hit some bumps with all the drivers) but now it is stalling at the welcome screen.  It boots just fine, I can login using my fingerprint just fine, and then the welcome screen comes up.  And stays up (with the little circle swirling).  It's taking anywhere between 10 and 45 minutes for the computer to get past this screen and be up and running.  And, even when up and running it bogs down when I try to navigate through my files on our home server and processes extremley slow.  Once up and going, the internet works just fine.  I am trying to avoid wiping out the whole computer again.  Anyone experincing anything similar?  Anyone have any suggestions?  I'm currently not powering down because I don't have time to wait for it to turn back on!  Thank so much!
