I installed opensuse 11.2 on my TouchSmart.

I can use the keyboard when booting. However, after I logged in, I could no longer use the keyboard.

I tried getting into the Keyboard configuration via a wired mouse. Which keyboard type should I select?

I rebooted, and the keyboard worked. I could log in. I could type in a terminal.
I wanted to switch Caps Lock and Control, so I used the Gnome Control Center, selected Keyboard, then Layouts, then Layout Options. I selected Swap Caps Lock and Control, then closed the Control Center. Then the keyboard stopped working again!
