First, the M gesture to start mediasmart doesn't work for me. I've watched many videos of people doing it, and thought I've done it the same way, it doesn't start. Do I have to set it up to start?

Also, is there a way to change the touch settings, or add in special shortcuts? Or re-allign the touch?

And I had another, but now I can't remember what it was... Hum.

I am unsure if it is possible to get the M touch gesture back currently in Windows 7. I know in vista this was setup, however I have not seen anything for 7 yet to restore this functionality. Anyone with a tx2-1300 series with a stock HP image able to confirm or deny if this works?

As for the other question, RaggedR is correct for the Calibration and general touch settings. As for creating your own touch gestures and shortcuts however, I don't believe there is anything allowing this in the N-trig package presently. Someone feel free to correct me here if I have been blind and not seen it in the ntrig packages...

You can customize flicks by going to control panel > pen and touch > flicks > customize.

Is there a way I can make the control shortcut (I have it set as southwest flick) make it so I open a link in a new tab. I tried flicking from the link, but that didn't work. So far, all I've got is I can drag the link, but that's a hastle.

The flicks doesn't necessarily mean you flick items on your screen. I assume that what you are trying is pointing/touching a link then flicking it so that it would open on a new tab. I don't think that is possible (yet). But you can
set a flick to open a blank new tab (by assigning CTRL + T on the southwest flick, for example).

For customizing flicks, it is limited to keyboard shortcuts that involves 2 keys.

You can touch and hold your finger down on that link to do a right click then clicking on the option to open the link in a new tab, but it doesn't look as fancy as flicking. :p

Yeah, I've been doing that recently, Or I just drag the link I want into a new tab, but it takes more effort.
Thanks!

Ahh, I thought you wanted to create a gesture vs using the flicks to do some of these tasks. My appologies.

Well, that's actually what I was looking for, sort of. More so that I just didn't know what to call it, or what was possible.

The gesture I dont belive you can do anything about. The flicks can be customized however.
