Hi.....can I install this software in my Hp tx2z 1000 cto. If is YES, then should I uninstall all TouchSmart MVP an DVD software before install this software?.

The HP Touch&Media smart All in One Installer project is now complete!
Users now have a click and done method to install all of the touchsmart applications without having to deal with the convoluted guides and file replacements to get this working.
The current version has the option to install the following:
HP Mediasmart MVP
HP Touchsmart 3.0 Shell

HP Mediasmart Webcam

HP TS Internet TV
I will provide updates to the installer as updated versions are released from Hewlett Packard. The updated installer will replace the current version on my website.
Donations toward this project and future ones can be made from my website, there is a link provided at the bottom of the page. The application itself also has a button you can use to donate from when you finish installing.
Any issues with the installer, please post here in this thread regarding what is happening and I will do my best to assist and resolve the issue.

Yes, you can install this on any Tx2 series laptop with Windows 7 on it.
You should not have to uninstall the current MVP or DVD software, but it would not be a bad idea to do such just to avoid any potential issues.

Jollywombat, another thing: with current version of TocuhSmart Menu and Quick Launch Buttons software to launch it with 2 fingers in wave form in screen no work......I do not know why happen this.............can you help me?.

Unfortunately I cannot help you with that issue. The "M" gesture that used to exist with the Vista drivers from N-trig in correlation with Mediasmart were not included and built into the Windows 7 driver/firmware package from Ntrig from what I have found.
There is no work around or fix for this so far as I know. It is something I have been looking into alternate solutions for.
As for your issues downloading it, I am unsure. This is not an issue that others have experienced, so I would guess it may be related to your ISP or computer.

Thanks again, Jollywombat.....now I am download this software again....I think my issues for download it is for overload of link.....As soon I install it, I post about performance in my HP tx2z 1000 cto with Windows 7 and with Microsoft Touch Pack for Windows 7.

Yes, this works on all of the Tx2 series. The 1200 series is technically considered to be part of the Tx2-1000 series for parts and support. Enjoy!

I am also working on a patch installer currently for users to be able to patch their Touchsmart applications to the latest revision as well as include the system modification for Battery Monitoring within the Touchsmart application itself.

I cannot include the "M" gesture as it is not a part of the driver package from N-trig as it used to be for windows Vista. Nothing I can do about this sadly.

Heeeey,
Thanks for the files! I just have some problems with it....i have a tx2 1250ed with windows 7, 64 bits. When i open the notes, all the standard notes keep re-appearing, even though i have deleted them. When i do open the recycle bin its empty and i cant close it anymore..........
Then when i try to add an rss feed, i press ok and it just does nothing.....
But thats not all! I installed all the features, but cant seem to find the wheater thing anywhere!
Maybe ive made some kind of rookie mistake here, but i would appreciate it if you have any ideas on what the problem could be.

I'm not entirely sure what's going on with mine ( HP Touch Smart IQ504 ) but ever since I went to Windows 7 Ultimate I've tried everything under the sun with the exception of paying some one at HP to get this software running again. I'm sorry but a $100 bucks for a 5 minute conversation is insane, I tried this as well and I get to the same place as I did installing it manually. Installed and accessible but will not recognize pictures or movies on the HDD even if I take the rights over it still shows nothing on the system aside from the folders all of the pictures are in, those are still there. Any ideas on how to get this to work for me?

Probably the easiest way at this point is to install Win7 cleanly, then install JW's all in one Touchsmart installer.
It's not clear in your posting if you've even tried JW's installer.
