Or this is well known and im just a noob.

In talking to hp support I was told to press Fn+Esc and that pulled up a screen with my laptop information... not that impressive i know... but my question is what came up under ram....

Total Memory: 2.5gb (2.25gb system + 256mb video)

now maybe im looney.... but im pretty sure that originally we were stuck at like 32 or 64mb video.... but yet now my card is sharing 256mb???

btw those who are wondering.... yes i have 8gb but im sending it in to repair so i threw some old ram in its place.
