That is why HP is #1 in customer satisfaction. Thanks for sharing this with community. Now it being too greedy!!!! :) You should remove your screen protector before sending it to HP. If you read return packing carefully they mention it clearly..
Best,
To thank anyone from hp who happens to be here....
on 2/15 I sent my laptop in to have 2 things fixed. A annoying squeek next to my trackpad and a sticky power switch.....
I got my laptop back today although fed ex originally had me scheduled for 2/17 delivery hp didnt make the overnight deadline....
To my utter surprise:
An entire new bottom casing (still has the plastic on it)
An entire new top casing.... (more protective plastic)
And.... a new screen. So from what I can tell (I cant check the mobo)
the only original parts I have are: Keyboard, battery, ram and HDD.
THANKS :) HP gave me a new scratchless touchsmart...
Ps. Can someone please send my screen protector back? :)

Yes i know I should have removed it like I did the hard drive and my ram (didnt want hp reformatting for a case issue :P I just never would have guessed hp would replace my screen with a totally unrelated problem.
