Hey there,
I'm experiencing two states where Win 7 doesn't respond any longer and hangs up the whole machine.
1.)
Everytime I try to defrag partition C: the system freezes in while consolidating the partition. Sometimes it happens in loop 3 at 4% progress and sometimes in loop 4 at 4% progress. Hard reset is the only thing to get it to work again.
Any ideas / suggestions how to solve this issue?
2.)
When I boot the machine and it is logging into Windows desktop the whole system hangs up short after connecting to the local w-lan. What I figured out about this problem is, that it has something to do with the home network function of Win 7. I've got a desktop pc that is connected to my router (Fritz!Box 7050 Wlan) via Lan and the TX2 connects via w-lan to it. Everytime when the desktop pc is running and I'm running the TX2 also the system of the TX2 hangs.
To prevent the TX2 from this behavior I gave up the home network thing. This way both run normal side by side.
Any suggestions / ideas how I might get them together in a home network without problems?
Thanks in advance for any response.

Got a new harddisk from HP because it was defective. The harddisk had a current pending sector according to S.M.A.R.T data which caused the freeze while defragmenting.
Second issue isn't one any longer.
