I recently bought a Hp ToughSmart 300.. and suddently the display went out.. You can here the pc start up but there is no display.. Any ideas
Are you able to use the vga output on it to get a display working on an external monitor?

I don't think the TouchSmart 300 has a VGA out. Only the business edition of the 600 has video out. And it's DVI on that one.
thanks for the response.. the 300 doesnt have a vga out.. do you guys think if its a driver issue. that if i take the cmos battery out will it recet everything..
i also noticed that when i start the computer.. the hard drive thinking light does not come on at all..
