Alright, I am now running 2.239, 4 touch points indeed. :D

I uninstalled the present ntrig duosense driver (2.184) first from control panel, rebooted, and ran the installer for 2.239. After installing 2.239, there's no confirmation about the completion of the install, touch stopped working, and there was an error on device manager, most likely because a reboot was needed to complete the installation (but the installer didn't prompt a reboot), so I rebooted the laptop myself. After the reboot, before the desktop screen appears, touch tuning started by itself, and then the desktop loaded, touch now working. I tried to do a quick doodle on paint, with the pen first, so far no lines are breaking. Same with drawing lines with 4 fingers.

I was hoping the hover-right click thing would be back, but no luck. :c

The N-trig pen and touch settings in Control Panel is almost empty. The option to go "pen only", "dual" (and what was the other one? xD) is gone. There's just blank space on the area they used to occupy. The default configuration now is that the finger touch turns off when the pen is near the screen. It is still possible to go just "pen only" through control panel > pen and touch > under the "touch" tab, just uncheck "use your finger as an input device". (I never knew that existed until now. xD)

Finger's crossed there won't be any cursor jumping.

Well, same thing here.

No "install complete" message at all, just reboot when installer dissapear.

Ntrig control panel is empty, the only option is for add sounds to touch "clicks"

Touch seems to work fine, but we need more testing.

I have the insopportable gost clik on the screen :S (they stops only if I disable the finger as touch input)

I tink that in less then an hour I'll uninstall it :S

Try re-installing? Seams if no one else is having this problem.

After some preliminary testing, it seems as if the dead zones are gone.

Also, for the ghost clicks, try this: control panel > N-trig Pen and Touch Settings > Touch Tuning > reset

Or maybe you have a not so good power line.

I think that you could improve jump clicks, calibrating the digitizer with the option youll use more (AC or battery)

And... probably if you calibrate on AC mode, you wont get as many jump clicks.

But, if you have really crazy jump clicks, like inking where you dont even touch, and broken lines everywhere... you need a power line filter. They are pretty commons and easy to find.

trihy, very well thought - i agree.

Not sure if this is with the new driver, but I can't write with either the stylus or my finger on Windows Journal. I couldn't even do a right-click on it, although the circle formed when doing a right click shows up. Can anybody else try writing on Windows Journal?

EDIT: Oh, nevermind, I just had to recalibrate my pen, it solved it. :))

According to this http://www.n-trig.com/Content.aspx?Page=Hints it seams like they addressed most of the issues we had ...

Well, thats a nice read

I hope ntrig understand that besides better drivers, we need communication, betas, estimated release dates... that keep us entertained while we wait, is not so hard :)

You give a driver... we need 1 - 2 months for testing... so you have 1-2 months to work without pressure. Please dont let us without drivers for 8 months again.

hmm....must tell Jayhawk about this.

okay. I can honestly say that this worked PERFECTLY for me. No ghost clicks, no random moving around, all 4 touch points works perfectly and so does the pen.

Although I wish that the installer would SAY completed instead of just going silent night on us.

Dead zones are persisting, one bar about a millimeter high 2-3 centimeters up from the bottom, and anther the same height, about 1/3 the screen length from the top in a small section to the left side.
