I think it's your hard drive that's causing that snap sound.

My tx2 sporadically makes a snap sound.
In my opinion comes the sound from the area of the pen holder.
The noise occurs both when the pin is inserted and when it is not inserted.
anyone has an idea what it might be or whether this is normal?

Do you mean this when the HDD goes into the safety position?
It is possible, but it irritates me because it's so loud.
