I just received a 506 for the holidays and love itexcept that I far prefer using trackballs to mice.  If I was to purchase a cordless trackball, would it pick up on the same signal or do I need to install a secondary usb stick?

 Any suggestions much appreciated, thanks!

I agree... I didn't know there were any wireless trackballs available. I hope someone answers you. Wouldn't the trackball packaging specify the OS and whether or not a USB stick is needed?

You can still use a USB trackball. Just make sure yu turn off the mouse.

I quit using my mouse the day I got my TS (see my "cheesy mouse" post). I switched to my Logitech wireless MX Laser Mouse that I used on my PC before the TS and it works great. I have to use teh wireless reciever for it, but it is tucked away in the hidden USB prot behind my touchsmart cable panel.
