It should work, but there's something better on the way, and it will let you watch HD on multiple PCs, the HDHomeRun with CableCARD http://www.silicondust.com/press Estimated out in June at about $250 which I view as better then the ATI at $298, and more useful.

Have any of you used the ATI Digital Cable Tuner with your HP Touchsmart? I am looking for a way to watch my Comcast digital cable on my touchsmart without having to use the big digital cable box.
