My $25 HP TouchSmart IQ506 Wall Mount:

  • Common Hardware store components (the one I use can support upto 200 lbs).
  • Very Easy to install (took 15 minutes)
  • No Modification to the computer

Seems as though you'd have to look up all the time to use.

Nice, cheap install though.

I know… I tried iVerval not long ago, they indicated if I am in Canada, I have to contact the Canadian Partner (www.cpicomputers.com). Cheers Tom

Could you give us more details please?  ( like where did you get the brackets?, how do you mantained the balance of touchsmart?).

Thanks a lot

In Canada; Canadian Tire: http://reviews.canadiantire.ca/9045/0468641P/reviews.htm

In USA: ACE Hardware:
http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2499006&kw=panel+wall&...
http://www.acehardware.com/search/index.jsp?kwCatId=&kw=gearwall&origkw=gearw...

The unit leans on the wall, the weight of the unit on the brackets is enough to keep it stable. Since my kids are also using this (in the kitchen), I have it secure to the wall. The leg (folded) of the LCD panel is held down by a 1/2 inch flat rubber strap bolted onto the wall.
