Has anyone managed to disable the IR receiver on your Tx2?

I have an HTPC and its quite annoying that my Tx2 also reacts when I want to change channel on the TV and so on...

I dont find it in the device manager to disable it, but I have tried disabling more ore less every other device without an obvious name without success..

I have even tried to find the receiver physically to put some tape over it, without success - maybe there are several!

There are 2. One on the bezel by the buttons and one on the front by the headphone jack. This one is labeled. I assume there's two so you can use it in either notebook or laptop form.

I would just use electrical tape.

Try the following:

Disable the eHome Infrared receiver under the USB section
the Consumer IR devices in System Devices
and the MS eHome Infrared devices under Human Interface Devices.
