I have upgraded to IE 8 just to find that the two finger zoom in or out jumps to 10% and trying to zoom out it will only expand to 15%. I have to zoom out uing the zoom bar in the lower right corner to bring the screen back to 100%.

I have tried IE8 with no plugins in both the 32 and 64 bit versions with the same results. All other apps I have tried the zoom works including Firefox.

I am unable to downgrade back to IE7 where all worked well. MS claims I have the latest version or that the IE I am attempting to install is not compatible. I also have no option to uninstall IE8.

MS connect has one post that indicates they are aware of the problem but has no plans to repair it in this version.

Im not prepared to restore my system. I could take months to reinstall software much of which I had to jump through rings of fire to make work on Vista 64.

Does this feature work of everyone else or has everyone just accepted it?

Im hoping there is a registry edit that may help.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Thanks for the feedback. I should have added that Im running:
tx2 1025 touchsmart tablet
Vista ultimate 64 bit
I do have several processes etc disabled to circumvent the USB N-trig device not recognized issue but non of them should affect the touchzoom in IE8.

The flick functions work well its just the zoom.

There is a post on MS connect that I tried to past but the forum website reports a script error when I try. I will try and duplicate the MS message.
