Have you read the other threads on the Recipe Box application? both here and on the HP.com support/touchsmart boards? they're very informative on this exact subject.

I just received an email from HP saying that HP TouchSmart Recipe Box Application Update (ver 2.5.3812.27772) is available to download and that the update "HP TouchSmart Recipe Box application update adds support for use in Canada. ". I assume this means that we Canadians can now install and use the Recipe box software.
I downloaded this software and when I tried running it, I got the following error message: Your system does not meet the minimum requirements for this update. Update has been cancelled (9997).
Am I wrong to think that the software is now available for Canadian users based on the above? Has anyone been able to install this into their computer? If so, can you help me out with getting this installed on my machine?

If your model is not listed as a supported model for the recipe box software, then that error is expected.
Nothing has changed in that regard, and nothing has changed in regards to the comments to the OP posted above.

Have you used the Recovery process to try and recovery just that application? And did you have it when it was new?
Remember, it's US and Canada only.

Just purchased an HP TM2-2050ca based in large part on the recipe box app as its a gift for my wife. The app was not installed and I have not been able to locate a download that will install. Prior to purchase \i checked the HP website and understood that the app is bundeld with this machine. Not a good out-of-box experience! Is there a link to the download\?
