Whenever I load internet TV or MSNBC content in Media Center, it takes progressively longer to load until the program finally stops responding and shows only a black screen. A quick google search reveals that others are experiencing this problem as well, have not found reliable solutions yet.

Any help is much appreciated!

That's an issue with Windows Media Center. Need to wait for Microsoft to figure out what's going on with that. I believe the Internet TV thing is still in beta.

Thanks GeekTieGuy, I'll just wait for the final release (which in true MSFT form will inevitably require a patch following installation in short order).
