Hi,

I have a Touchsmart 300.

I've tried to remove old album art by deleting both:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media Player  (Delete the contents of the Art Cache folder)

C\Users\usermane\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Ehome (Delete the contents of the Art Cache folder)

I have also deleted all album art in every folder BUT I still find old Art displaying in Touchsmart Music. I'm stumped!

Is there a Touchsmart folder/cache that I also need to empty? Any other ideas?

Thanks.

I've had no luck finding where Touchsmart keeps it's cache of album art. My Mp3's are tagged with album art which show correctly in: Windows Media Center, Windows Media Player, and Media Monkey. However, Touchsmart Music is still displaying old art that has since been updated.

I've tried removing all folders from the Touchsmart Library and adding them again but the 'old' album art just won't go away. Anyone else with this problem or better yet a solution?

Thanks.

Maybe this old comment from Digger helps:

@GeekTieGuy & Digger
Thank-you so much for directing me to the above solution. It worked!

I had spent countless hours scouring the internet looking for solutions, an equal amount of time going through every hidden folder on my machine searching for the "old" art, and also tried countless times deleting and adding my Music Libraries to any program that uses them all to no avail.

Peace at last.
:-)
