I can't connect to a wireless network if my battery is in the laptop while plugged in into a wall outlet. I can connect if one of the two is not present. I've already reinstalled the wireless driver over the old driver, restored the computer to an earlier time, and even deleted the driver and reinstalled it. Also, it also does it in safe mode too. My computer is a TouchSmart tx2-1377nr with Windows 7 and the wireless card is a Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN. No, it does not give me an error so there is no error code for me to give and it just says it can't connect. Any help will appreciated.

NM, it's being sent back as to no one knows how to solve this problem and not even the techies could help either.

Check the issue by changing Power settings of your laptop. As the issue appears in safe mode as well, I suspect the firmware/BIOS of your machine is not upto date. Please update the BIOS and check the issue.

None of that worked so it has to be sent back and someone told me it might have a short.
