My tx2 has recently been having serious problems with the touch. Shortly after this started, my computer stopped working all together. I went to frys electronics and there tests said that the motherboard had gone bad. I bought a new motherboard, and now the touch works flawlessly!! The main problems that this fixed were the "usb device not recognized" error, and the touch being unresponsive as cwell as not working at all. I hope this has been helpful for at least a few of you.

I got mine used from an ebay store that shipped it from china for $120. I had to do a lot of searching to find that deal of course. The board is around $300 from HP. Hope this helps

For the first year of owning this laptop, i have had nothing but problems. The first thing they did was replace the hard drive. Everything worked for a while but the touch screen still worked only intermid. THey had me reformat it 5 times and it did not help!! I finally gave it one last shot to get them to fix my computer. Luckily, mine was still under warranty. They ended up replacing my mother board, and the LCD screen. So far no problems but i don't like saying it out loud. I am still getting the error in NTRIG, more than one HID driver found, but the touch seems to be working fine. I'm not doing anything to it. I don't want to touch it because it's finally working! Multi-touch, media smart has never worked which is very fustrating.
