Hi, I was wondering if you are able to enable the light emitter that is located above the speakers on the front of the pc? I have a hp touchsmart 300-1040a and i live in Australia, if that makes a difference. Thankyou =)

That should be the oval button on the left side of the computer. Well, my computer is on the left.

Press it and it changes intensity.

My model doesnt have the button for it. It has got all the light bulbs for it above the speakers, but can you do something so it will work?

There are some newer models outside the US that appear to no longer have the Ambient Light feature, they are spotted by not having a button for it.

If you don't have the button, and you don't have the software, you may very well have one of these models.
