The applications come with the PC, some such as Recipe Box and Hulu are region/country specific, the shipped applications are on the Recovery disc you created, and most are also on HP.com

Hi i just bought HP Touchsmart 1160 in france and looking to download the new apps such as weather, recipe box etc.. but i cant seem to find where to download these apps: could someone shed some light? thanks

could u show me where the links to download the apps are on hp? i updated the hp touchsmart via the hp update program, there was stuff like recipe box and the tutorials etc, but when i installed the updates, i couldnt find the stuff on the touchsmart program. why is this so

Just go to HP.com then support, put in your model, choose your OS, and it will present you with the applications available.
That's it, yes, it really is that easy, and no, I really don't have the time to go through and do all that for your to provide the links that you can find on your own, there's a limit to how much help to expect.
:-)
And new apps are not always made available to owners of older machines, or machines in other countries, sorry.

Try out StPlayer and StNotepad. You can download them from http://stforms.net/StPlayerDownload.html and http://stforms.net/StNotepadDownload.html respectively.

not wishing to hi-jack the thread, but is 'recipe box' available in the UK? this is one of the reasons im using a TouchSmart device (i'm a new user of TS)
