Simon,
Your comments really had nothing to do with the thread about multi-touch capabilities for the IQ7xx series, so I moved it out here on it's own.
You are correct that the IQ77x has no Win 7 software, in that respect you're really better off leaving it as Vista since you can't use any of the HP applications that shipped with it, there's nothing inherently evil or wicked about Vista, it's stable, runs fine, and is great on the IQ77x series.
You should be able to use the Vista calibration utility on Win7.
As far as the Recovery Discs, the units don't come with them, you have to make them, and it's pretty good at nagging you, if you didn't do it, then you would be better off buying them from HP UK.
If I personally still had an IQ77x unit, I would be running Vista and the original HP Touch suite on it, it was a nice set up.

Hi Guys,
I have an IQ790 UK, with a fresh install of windows 7.
The touch screen works, but is in dire need of calibrating!
Unfortunately, I don't have any of the HP software and on their site it is Vista only also. I never got the recovery disc with the computer and have checked the recovery partition which has an empty folder called "recovery"
Need to get the screen calibrated as this is a present for my wife!
Any help appreciated!
Kind regards,
Simon
