Look at the user.config file in %localappdata%\Hewlett-Packard\SmartCenter.exe_Url_*\[version]
This file stores (among other things) the background image in a setting called BackgroundPicture. You should be able to select your desired background using this setting.
I'm writing a batch file to install and configure my touchsmart to how I want it with the applications I want etc. Everything on it works great, just the last step I am looking to do is change the background via this batch file. Is this possible through a command or is there a way to override the default background image to a different one?
Thanks!
hmmm that looks like the right spot. I'm trying to figure out a way to automate this though... for instance the batch file I created sets up everything for me (removes default settings and config, registers each application, adds registry entries etc.) with the exception of changing the wallpaper. Looks like short of writing an application in C# or VB.NET to read and edit that XML file this won't be possible through just a simple batch file.
Unless anyone has any other ideas?
