Probably not. It's more likely to be related to the TouchSmart software. Which version of that do you have installed?
I'm using Win7. When I install TouchSmart SDK 3.0 and run the sample HelloMole.exe of it, error turns up. It should be noted that, I haven't installed any hardware related to HPTouchSmart for now. My question is: Does the error caused by not installing any hardware related to HP?

That's only part of what you need. To run and test hosted apps you need both the HP TouchSmart foundation/shell software and the SDK.
Are you running the HelloMole.exe sample on a TouchSmart system that has the TouchSmart 3.0 software installed?
