Hi figtRN. I hope this helps you. Check what version of Microsoft Office you are running. Contact Microsoft Office support if you are not running Microsoft Office 2010 64bit and ask for 64bit link for download. Also if your Anti Virus software needs to be for 64biit version as well. Not because it says compatible. I recomend Trend Mico Internnet Security Pro 3.0 you love the features.Even if you purchased in a store and it is not 64bit virsion they will give the link for 64bit version . I had freeze up also. This was the solution to it. You can log on Tendmicro.com and use house call. Pre installed Norton does not work well. Adware shut it down. Good Luck I be back to see if still are having troubles.
Hello,
I was hoping someone would know what's going on with my TS 600. It's brand new. I'm running windows 7 and it is guaranteed to lock up when I'm looking through my pictures. The viewer turns the opaque white and the curser starts spinning and that's the end. Ctrl,Alt,delete won't bring up a task manager and my only option is to hit the power button and restart it. Any ideas? Thanks.
Thanks Fred, I was running kaspersky anti virus and once I uninstalled it the problem went away. I am running MS 2010 (I installed it from a disk) not sure the bit. I'll try your suggestions and see if I can't reload the kaspersky.
I appreciate the help!
Hi figRN: I went to Kaspersky site. Thats very expensive and you have to pay for support for it as well. Now you found the problem just contact Kaspersky and ask for 64 bit version software. When it time for renewing your antivirius protection. I recommend Trend products all service comes free with software. Trend software is also alot cheeper as well. I hope you had success fixing the problem. Now you can enjoy it. Write this down trendmicro.com keep it your pc. For the future and when your antivirius fails. Trendmicro.com provides a free scan called house call download 64bit scan. My freind has Kaspersky it on his pc. Does not work well. He has so much adware. I spent four hours removing it all. Still his explorer still doesn't work right. Beside that it is very easy to use gives alot more protection for a lot less.
You just can't beat Microsoft's Security Essentials for a decent free AV program, it's my number one recommended to friends and family.
It's lightweight and does a good job, this is backed up by a great number of solid reviews. If you're having AV trouble, give MSE a try.
