I can't seem to find one to order on the HP site. My kids have knocked it off the counter one too many times and I need to replace it. The receiver and keyboard are fine. Anyone know how I can get just the mouse? I don't want to use a USB port for this, and would like to continue to use the wireless receiver that came with it to save the port.

It's p/n 5189-2579, but it's not worth the price they want in the replacement world. You can get almost exactly the same mouse in the HP replacement accessory pages.

My recommendation? order a new kbd/mouse combo with USB receiver, and you can pull the existing USB receiver in the IQ5xx USB slot, HP's part: FQ481AA#ABA or VF741AA#ABA would both be great replacements for under $60, and I think the 481 is actually the same unit that ships with the later IQ-series units.

It's a weird world for computer accessories, that's why the combo kit is cheaper then just the mouse.

Ok, thanks for the information.

Hi,

I just happen to have the same mouse but I've lost the USB receiver and HP doesn't sale replacement parts for it... They basically want me to buy a brand new mouse... Any chance you still have that receiver and would be willing to help a guy out by parting with it?

Just buy the replacement HP Wireless Elite keyboard and mouse, trust me, it's the only way to get a matched set of keyboard, receiver, and mouse, when you buy ones from different production runs they will not link up, trust the voice of experience
