hi,

i think ur PC's registries are corrupted as they holds a big space in background..& might effect the others also..u think u should optimize ur PC..there r lots of available on net..i can suggest u an application named Advanced System Optimizer..just download it and install it..i m sure.. this will definitely help..!!

What version of Internet Explorer are you running? If its version 8, remove it and go back to version 7. I have had lots or problems with both my touchsmart pc and my laptop freezing. As soon and i removed ie 8, the problem went away. Its a known issue (from what i have read on Tech forums)

I too think that the registries are corrupted. These entities practically manage all the contents of the PC. Let us know if formatting your registries was of any help.
