Hello everyone, since this is my first post, I hope someone can help me as I am really having a bad time with my old HP IQ770 computer.
I have been the owner of the only IQ770 in Colombia for about 3 years and as You might figure out, I didn't purchase it in my country. It came all the way from Colorado Springs in the US.
When I first opened the box and heard the sound of my computer I knew something was bad with it, but it was already too late to send it back to the states because just returning it for the warrany was going to be very expensive for me. So I decided to keep it with the damaged cooling system (fan) making a terrible noise. It is really damaged now, but the computer was still working decently.
Last month, I started having problems with the network card. It was weird. In the mornings when I turned my computer on, it was not able to detect the card, so I always had to restart a second time and voila, the network card started working properly. But last week, instead of that, my computer started blocking all the input devices (mouse, keyboard, screen) and in the taskbar, the network indicator started showing me an X instead of the world (this, after a few hours working). Well, I figured it should be a short circuit caused by the dust (the back cover is always open in my IQ770 because of the damaged fan... if i close it, it overheats and shuts down). Saturday it got worse, I started getting a blue screen with a message that stated something like "Hey, the computer is not able to start, it is possible that there is a failure or conflict with your hardware", and i said, that's it, i have to fix it for real. I decided to clean the dust of the motherboard and parts, started by removing all the pieces (i have always been an expert to disassemble computers, not so much to reassemble).
It took me about 3 hours to finally get to the bottom of the case, below the motherboard, but i did it. Well, I never touched anything related to the display, but i did unplug all the cables that were attached to the motherboard, and to tell you the truth, when i tried to put everything together again, i didn't really remember the exact position of all those cables, and that's why i came here.
For me, it is impossible to find a technician in Colombia who will be able to fix my computer, not even HP in Colombia for a fee would help me, because my computer was not supposed to be sold here. And I have not been able to find a good diagram of the correct cable connections that need to be made in order to have it working.
Right now, all i'm getting is a black screen when i turn my computer on. No beeping, and no power overcharge. So I guess, it is not completely damaged. I would like to put it together again in the correct way, to see if it is fixable. Any help will be appreciated.

Ok, I made some advance in re assembling the IQ770, yesterday, I noticed that there were a few free cables and I got them in the right place. But the screen still doesn't work. (It's making sounds whenever I touch it, but still doesn't give me any image).
I connected a second monitor to the VGA port (or HDMI, I'm not totally sure) and it was recognised and working. BUT i couldn't get it to work 100%. It still has the explorer bar missing (the lower windows bar or desktop toolbar), so I couldn't access everything.
I still can't access internet, so i guess maybe the network card is not working either and only some of the icons are visible. I made that second monitor my default monitor, but nothing with the desktop toolbar.
Well, I still need the connection diagram, so please help me, I don't think my computer is damaged, and I think I still can save it.
Thanks!
