I bought HP Touchsmart tm2-2005tx but the hard disk replace due to drive failure after a month. HP was able to manually install operating system and drivers to the unit but unfortunately they were not able to installed hp recovery partition on my hard drive and all of the pre installed programs in it was gone. Can someone help me how to download all the pre installed programs? like Media Smart photos, music, video and camera; HP true vision software. Thank you :)

It works in mine, and it is a TS 600.

It will work for most systems, however it was designed around the older upgraded systems, not the new systems that shipped with the Touchsmart 3.x software. It will work on them, but that's just a positive side effect.
The tm2 shipped with Touchsmart 3.x and it will be on the recovery media that the user made or bought.

Are you sure it was HP that handled the work? HP will always reinstall the full operating system AND all accessory software to as new from the factory.
If it was someone else, your best approach is to call HP and order the full recovery software disc set, it's usually $25 or less.

they did the work but the problem is HP Philippines doesnt have recovery disc for tm2 so they just install operating system but all the pre installed programs for my tm2 is gone :( they just ask me to purchase recovery disc in Hong Kong where i bought my tm2 :(

That makes perfect sense, warranty work and recovery media are only available in the region/country where the unit was sold.

im trying to install the file but it didnt work :( maybe il just have to purchase recovery disc from hp hongkong :(
