Hi popwarfour. Wellcome to the club just received your notice. The touch smart SDK is on hp update. If you have not landed on the page you will soon enough exploring hp web-site. You can also just type it in hp search section box on hp web box also. I found out with windows 7 version computers we need to upgrade them to windows ultimate. They have all the tools needed to run xp windows stuff. I made a mistake upgraded to windows professional was not enough. Than I went to windows 7 exploring I discovered all these tools and programs that are downloaded separately but there was a catch to it you need Windows Ultimate installed to download them. Microsoft got us. Be prepared to update your computer I hope you will enjoy it.Windows 7 you can not do much on them untill you upgrade the windows. I can do more now but not as much as I like to. I still have to update this from professional windows to ultimate windows . When you explore Windows keep exploring ultimate you find all the tools and programs needed there pluss technical support I do not mean just personnel computer support their support on programs and website stuff and commercial stuff. I think Fred may have been referring to "XP Mode" which requires Ultimate or Professional, but doesn't work with the Home editions, but there are other products like VMWare that work just fine.

Since Fred didn't elaborate I can't be sure, but there are very few reasons that anyone in a home situation would need Win7 Ultimate.

Those who want to make there own screen savers on Touchsmart computers no problem any more. In explorer search type: make your own touch sreen screen saver results are a massing most of their software is free. Those that include shere ware click declined icon as it installs when adware asks. They have a music juke box screen saver with touchscreen application. Most I have seen so far are movies and pitures. I even seen tools for web designs using touch sceen application. There are a lot of web-sies listed to explore. I seen one with snow lots of animations but no bubbles yet mostly pitures and movies. As far as Windows 7 home addition you can do more with upgrading sence there is application requiring earlier version windows to run on. Back to exploring I go. I hope this helps.
