Hi All

thanks for running such an informative and helpful forum.

I have read about it and seems like it is not possible without spending large sum on an expensive converter. But would like opinion of gurus here.

I want to connect my tx2z (which has only VGA output) to my TV (has only S-video or RCA connection).

This i want to do simply to watch movies, playing on my laptop, on the larger TV screen, occasionally.

Is it at all possible ?

any help will be appreciated. thanks

guys, I am so sorry, I thought i searched but i guess i missed. This topic has been discussed in a diff thread
http://www.touchsmartdevzone.com/forum/thread/1407/TV-out-Via-VGA-adapter/

I will try out recommendations there, before starting a new thread.

I can tell you this, simple s-vid/RCA video in to a TV will yield mediocre performance at best, so be aware.
