The desktop forums have more than a few discussions on this very subject, you may want to head over there and review.
In short, yes there are some IQ7xx machines with an issue with video, postings in that forum will help you determine if it's worth digging into.

Going to try and make this as easy and straight tot he point as I can.
I bought a HP TouchSmart IQ700 Desktop PC series and I have had no problems, ocasionally my computer will start up with a black screen and I will restart and everything will be fine, but thats not the problem. I get these red lines and distorted(lack of better word) patches on my screen. I thought it was my video card, so I took it in to best buy where I bought it and they replaced the video card. No the warranty is out and six months later its worse. Now mostly green instead of red and sometimes it is impossible to even do anything.

I don't think its my video card, because when I take a screen cap it the lines and patches don't show up in the picture. So does anyone have any Ideas, advice, help in anway?
