Posted this another forum and was directed here, so I copied and pasted.

Going to try and make this as easy and straight tot he point as I can.

I bought a HP TouchSmart IQ700 Desktop PC series and I have had no problems, ocasionally my computer will start up with a black screen and I will restart and everything will be fine, but thats not the problem. I get these red lines and distorted(lack of better word) patches on my screen. I thought it was my video card, so I took it in to best buy where I bought it and they replaced the video card. No the warranty is out and six months later its worse. Now mostly green instead of red and sometimes it is impossible to even do anything.

Heres a picture I took with my cell.

I don't think its my video card, because when I take a screen cap it the lines and patches don't show up in the picture. So does anyone have any Ideas, advice, help in anway?

Rex,
I pointed you over here not just to have you repost, but so that you could read the existing threads on IQ7xx models and what people have done for graphics issues in the past.

Have you had a chance to review the existing threads on the IQ7xx graphics card issues?
