My computer does not want to wake up from sleep in the morning.  Sleep mode works right if it is only sleeping a couple hours, but after long periods of being in sleep mode I end up having to restart the computer.  Does anyone have any thoughts on why this might happen?

Have you dug deep into the power settings? one of them is specifically to have it hibernate after XX number of hours asleep.

Have a similar problem. Found no solution so far. I had win 7 upgrade. Reinstalled original Windows Vista - still the same problem. Please, help!

Make sure it's not turning off the keyboard and mouse receiver when it's sleeping since that would mean you can't use those devices to wake it up.

You should also be able to wake it up by tapping the power button

If you're using Hibernation turn it off, some machines can have issues recovering from a Hibernation session.
