I re-loaded a fresh copy of Windows 7 last night, and just put the finishing touches on all the drivers.  I was hoping to find someone who is using some sort of Facial Recognition software on their tx.

I've attempted to install the FaceAether trial software, but haven't had any luck with it executing properly at login.  I'm thinking it may be because of DigitalPersona and the fingerprint login is already in place.

Has anyone had any experience with this that they can share?

I use a free program called Lux and Blink as my facial recognition software. Its pretty good as it will recognize me with or without glasses and even if I have gone a few days without shaving. Even recognizes me in the morning before I've had my first few cups of coffee or a shower.
So far many of my friends and classmates have tried to logon using hteir faces and it won't let them.

It is also free.

I googled Luxand Blink, and got their website - I could only locate a free trial. Dave, whats the version # of the one you have loaded on your system? They may have done away with their completely free version since you installed. If I had the version number, I may be able to find the installer you used out there on the internets somewhere.

Wow... I just went back to the luxand website and it now appears that it is paid software. I got the software (via a recomendation from pcworld.com) around august last year (my files date is aug 1, 2010). At that time there was a freeware version - which I have - which was setup for one user and a pro version whihc you had to pay for that could handle multiple users. Looks like the "lite" version is no longer available. The download I have is v 2.0.0 but it has updated to 2.2 since I installed it and it is still functioning.
Might want to try contacting them and see if they still have a free version.

At least you can try the paid version for 90 days and get your money back af you aren't happy. I did find a news article on the site dated 11/11 stating that it "went pro" so I'm guessing thats about the time that the lite version was dropped.

Bummer...

I found it! Luxand Blink v2.2 installer. Works great & doesn't force upgrade. Just don't let it tempt you into upgrading to v2.3 & decline the offers to keep it for free.

Thanks for the info David!
