I believe the phrase you're looking for is "ghost clicks" and you should be able to see a lot more on this subject in the Touchsmart Notebook sections of the forum.
Hey all,
So my Tx2 has developed an intermittent glitch and I was wondering if anyone has seen it before and knows how to fix it.
Every so often the screen responds as if a touchscreen event has occurred on the right hand side of the screen. I haven't checked to see if the glitch occurs in tablet mode yet, but will update if it does.
It is always in the right hand side of the screen, and it would appear to occur more often the longer the laptop is running between complete shutdowns.
I'm running Win 7 64bit and I've tried uninstalling/installing the drivers; however, I'm happy to try it again if someone has a suggestion.
This is my last ditch before I try a complete reinstall, so if you have any thoughts they would be much appreciated.
