 Hi everyone,

I am curious as how to permanently disable the touchscreen on an IQ775.  I know I can temporarily do this in the HP Touch Screen Configuration window (I have it linked to in my quick launch icons), but every time the computer is restarted the touch screen is enabled again.  Thanks in advance!

If you were to disassemble the unit you should be able to disconnect the touchscreen USB input from the motherboard, but be warned, that's a pretty involved process.

There's no option in the way of just disabling a driver or two to disable the touchscreen?

Not a simple 100% reliable one.
You could try isolating the USB device that it's tied to and disabling it, but it would still beep when you go near it. But disabling one of the core features on a machine isn't something they tend to make easy.
