Sorry, that's out of my league.
I'm thinking that this will be the last time I will ask anything of this community. My laptop is getting into pretty bad shape, and is no longer able to keep up with my processing needs. So I'm on the verge of getting it into working shape, minimizing power setting, and handing it off to family and upgrading my own.
But before I do this, I would like to solve this one problem, and I was hoping that this community might be able to help me one last time. I need to isolate this problem to either an internal hardware problem, or software issue.
Currently, audio only plays left side audio through my left speaker, or my left headphone jack if it is plugged in. This is not a normal balance issue, as I have tried checking through the Realtek and Windows sound balance options which are correctly set.
Google searches are not turning up meaningful results. This problem occurred before and after I replaced the motherboard so it should not be located there. Reinstalling drivers have not solved anything.
I'm hoping the tidbits I have given to this forum might buy me a little bit of attention here. But, if worst comes to worst, I'll just take the thing apart and see if I can't get it working again.
