In general overclocking the CPU will not give you enough of a performance boost to warrant the loss in stability and increase of heat, these are not speed demon machines, never were.
You would need a custom BIOS to get access to the additional settings as far as I have heard.
I want to know how to unlock my bios on my Hp touchsmart IQ 500. I did overclock my gfx card runs stable and good but I do want to overclock my cpu so plese help!!!!!!
System information
Cpu: intel Mobile core 2 duo T5850 @2.16
Ram: DDR2 4gigs
OS: Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.
Gfx: Nivida Geforce 9300m Gs Overclocked
I know its bad to overclock but I wanna get some more juice out of this baby.
