Has anyone who needs one found a privacy screen / filter / mask that works with the HP Touchsmart PC's.

We are a medical facility and would like to do whatever is feasible to meet HIPAA requirements yet still use touchscreen PC's.

Have tried a screen from 3M and found that the touchscreen simply becomes unresponsive when it is fitted.

Thanks!

I find that odd since the screen itself does not do any of the touch registration, the touch is actually performed by the ir array at about 1/8" above the surface of the glass.

Anything that is placed on the display glass itself should not interfere with the touch functionality.

Unless it has infrared refraction properties and interferes enough with the light from the infrared cameras to mess up the camera firmware.

Nigel, have you tried other brands and styles? as GTG said, if they're affecting the ir around the screen they will cause issues.

I have not been able to find any other brand. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Hello

I tried few different privacy screens , 3M 3MF-PF24.0W I tried with Viewgard ( no model # ) too and my experience is that 3M did not work at all and Viewgard works somewhat but only if privacy screen is completely flushed on touch screen and not moved at all as it has a bit of a space around privacy screen. That is really hard to achieve .When we are able to get privacy screen not to move touch function respond .So this is my experience so far ,if anybody has some advice please share it .

Thanks
