I was using windows vista home premiun and i remember when muted the light on the volume changes to red, but after intall windows 7 prof with all drivers it doesnt happen anymore...any suggestion?

SOLVED.
I reinstalled the Realtek High Definition Audio Driver from the HP website and it is now working fine
