I really don't see how you can be comparing these two units, they are very different, the 610 is this years model with features like tilting base, etc, and the 600 is effectively last years model.
You need to decide which has the features you prefer, remember these are NEVER speed demons, they are machines with compromises and high user-friendliness
Can work software, but lost on hardware... Could I get advice on whether the touchsmart 610xt or the 600 39T, and which would be best? Thanks
