I am not certain if this is a Windows error or an HP Touchsmart related error, but every now and then I receive an error from Windows stating that the "rundll32.exe" has stopped running. The computer behaves and operates normally despite this error, though I usually reboot very soon if not immediately after seeing this message. Has anyone else received this message or knows why it occurs?

As I noted in another thread, I recently spoke to an HP tech support associate, and she told me this is a Vista error caused by a background task, and users need to identify which background task is causing the error for them to help. I am inclined to think it is the HP Touchsmart software, as I have never seen this error on other systems, but I am going to try and figure it out if I see it next time and contact them again.
